KAIT & BENETT | NIAGARA ON THE LAKE, ON

Congratulations to Kait and Benett who celebrated their wedding at the insanely stunning Inn on the Twenty in Niagara on the Lake. From the French feel of the Inn on the Twenty, to the stunning vineyard that made me feel like I was in Italy, every little bit of yesterday was beyond gorgeous! Going into the wedding, I knew it was going to be an emotional day, Kait’s father passed away two years ago and everyone missed him so so much. Even though he was not physically there, he was very much there in spirit and there were so many ways he was honoured and incorporated into the day. Whether it was the memory charm on the bouquet and Benett’s boutonniere, the seat that was saved for him at the ceremony, or the many images set around the venue of him. I do have to share a very special piece from their wedding day that I will never ever forget. After Kait and Benett were pronounced husband and wife, they headed back down the aisle together. As they did, they were showered in dried flower petals. These flower petals were saved from her dad’s funeral service. It was one of the most beautiful moments I have ever witnessed. Their wedding displayed so many beautiful little details. The succulants, the cute little pickles as favours, the way Kait’s shoes were the same colour as her bridesmaid dresses, the refreshing cucumber water at the ceremony, it was all so well thought through. Kait was very detailed oriented, a photographer’s dream!
