Meet Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I’m the lucky one who has the honour and privilege to freeze your beautiful moments in time for you to remember forever.

I hope when you flip through your photo album 50 years from now, you can feel exactly what you felt on that day and instantly be transported to those moments of pure joy.

I am recently married to the love of my life and my high school sweetheart Tyler. We live a beautiful and cozy life in our home in Orangeville with our sweet Golden Retriever Stella.

I’ve been a Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer for the last 11 years, but have been photographing moments and took an interest in photography at the young age of 11. I shot my first Wedding when I was 17 years old in high school, which then led me to study Fine Art in Photography at Toronto Metropolitan University.

And now here we are, hundreds and hundreds of sessions and over a hundred Weddings later! I have had the honour of getting to document so many incredible stories, and I can’t wait to hear more about yours!

I love to spend quality time with my husband

We really love enjoying the simple things in life, coffee on the porch, walking our dog, trying out a new restaurant. Stella is our pride and joy, I go with her to the dog park every single day.

Family means everything to me
My parents live on a 32 acre property (and is also my childhood home), and going back every time is so special for me.

A hot latte is my love language

Ty and I went on a backpacking trip to Europe in 2018 where we sat outside each morning with a cappuccino in hand, and it was then that I fell in love with coffee and also the way you slow down and enjoy your time with the people around you.

I love to explore new places

There is so much beauty in the world that I still have yet to see. Travel is such a key part to gaining inspiration, and everywhere I visit I always have a camera in hand.

I adore flowers

If I wasn’t a photographer I would likely be a florist. Flowers are so incredibly beautiful and I am constantly inspired by them.

my approach

The human connection is such a beautiful thing, and I am honoured to have the privilege of documenting these precious moments for a living.

I still have “pinch me” moments every day, realizing how meaningful my career is.

I’m not just your photographer; I’m also your moment preserver. I capture moments that you will be able to look back on for years to come.

My photos are joyful, romantic, and authentically captured to reflect exactly how you felt during that time. They are timeless and genuine. I’ll always be willing to say or do something silly to capture your beautiful laughs. I’m here to document your moments that will become your legacy. My hope is that these photos will adorn the walls of your home and be displayed in an album for your great grandkids to be able to look back on one day and see the legacy you left, and all of the stories along with it.

During our time together, I hope to get to know you as much as possible so that I can capture your moments with authenticity. We will laugh together and likely even cry together. Best of all, we will stay in touch because all of my clients become new friends and I couldn’t ask for anything better! (Yes, we will likely start to send each other memes on Instagram or I’ll send you a million photos of my dog Stella!)

your legacy

These photos below are the Wedding Portraits of me and my husband, my parents and grandparents. I’m lucky to still have my parents and my dad’s parents, but both of my mom’s parents have passed on. I never had the opportunity to meet my Oma, but my mom tells me all of the time how I look exactly like her. I’m so grateful to have these beautiful photographs to cherish of my own family. Getting to flip through old albums is such a joy, and I hope one day in the future you will have someone flipping through the pages of your albums and remembering your legacy.
