TINA & MIKE | NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE WEDDING
Tina and Mike planned a beautiful and intimate elopement in the stunning wine country in the heart of Niagara on the Lake. With the intention of keeping their wedding intimate, Tina and Mike only had 4 guests which included their adorable 1 year old son Emmett, Tina’s brother, her sister in law and their gorgeous little one Charlotte.
From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was already a part of the family. Everyone was in such great spirits, and you could see that although it was an intimate day, there was still so much great attention to detail.
I think this wedding stands out to me from all of the 2018 weddings because it was a beautiful and thought out day regardless of the guest number. It was about Tina and Mike officially uniting, and having the gift of their little boy there. I am so excited that they have these memories to look back on to remember what a key part Emmett played in their wedding day. When he grows up, he will be able to see the photos of him eating a granola bar while his parents were saying their vows, and to me that is absolutely priceless.
When I see these photos, it reminds me what a wedding truly is. It’s about two people coming together and saying their I do’s. And really that’s all you need! Just make sure they both arrive and you’ve got yourself a wedding! I think this wedding reminds me and other viewers that a wedding is whatever you want it to be, big or small, near or far. You decide your vision for the day. I couldn’t have asked to photographer a more beautiful Niagara on the Lake Wedding!
Here are some words from the bride Tina herself:
“The Wedding Day was perfect! The vineyard setting was exactly what we were looking for, it made a perfect backdrop for our photos. It was so lovely to stay on Niagara on the Lake, the vineyards were so beautiful and we really enjoyed visiting them the day following our wedding.
We chose to elope for a few reasons, mainly because we didn’t want the pressure or stress of planning a big wedding. It ended up being the best decision! We had our sweet little 1 year old son, Emmett, join us, as well as my brother, his wife and their daughter Charlotte. It was a perfect setting and the photos in the vineyards turned out amazing!
Advice to a bride wanting to have an NOTL elopement would be to invest in a great photographer because those will be the memories you look back on. The day goes by so quickly that you will forget little things until you see the photos! It was also so helpful to have the flowers delivered right to the venue, as well as hair/makeup done at the venue!”
